Dr. Dana Awad
“There are hundreds of languages around the world, but a smile speaks them all.”
Dr. Dana Awad knew she wanted to explore the dental profession when she was a child. She enjoyed going to the dentist and that dentist became one of her role models. Her family moved from Egypt to the south side of Indianapolis where she graduated from Franklin Central High School
Dr. Awad received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. As an undergraduate, she was recognized as one of the “Top 100” students in 2006. She was a member of the National Honor Society and earned Dean’s list honors every semester. Dr. Awad graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2011.
Prior to joining Gentle Dentist, Dr. Awad worked as an Associate at a group pediatric dental practice.
Dr. Awad is committed to keeping apprised of technological advancements, as she is dedicated to providing her patients the best possible treatment options. She has taken expanded courses/training in endodontics, pediatrics and comprehensive patient care. Dr. Awad’s approach to dentistry is building long-lasting relationships with her patients. She wants to understand their needs to help them improve their smiles.
Dr. Awad is a member of the following dental associations and organizations: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Indiana Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society, Implant Study Club, Women in Dentistry Club.
Dr. Awad resides in Noblesville with her husband and two sons. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, learning about other cultures, arts and crafts, volunteer work, teaching and spending time with her family.
